2019 Season Entry Deadlines

Posted: June 13th, 2019

All EDGA events are set with a regular entry deadlines 7 days before the day of the event. There is also the opportunity to submit a “late entry” which costs an additional $20. In addition to that, late entries will only be accepted at the discretion of the EDGA and generally players will only be added to the field when there are complete groups or players are needed to complete groups.

For example, if a field is set with full groups of threesomes, a late entry will only be included in the field when there are 3 late entries to add a group. Also, if there are not complete groups, such as if the field is one player short of full groups of threesomes, a late entry will be taken to fill the field.

Finally, once tee times have been completed, they will not be redone in consideration of late entries. Any groups added from late entries will be added to the end of the tee times.

Please contact the EDGA if you have any questions.

Match Play Deadline Approaches

Posted: June 5th, 2019

The entry deadline for EDGA events in the 2019 season is one week prior to the opening date of the event. However, due to some technical difficulties the deadline for the EDGA Match Play has been moved back to Wednesday June 12th. Any entries after that date must be accompanied by a late entry fee of $20. Also, late entries will only be added when there is both availability as well as an opportunity for pairing. (for example, if there are equal threesomes, a late entry won’t be added until a threesome is formed). Also, late entries will be added to the end once pairings are created.

The post below had a couple of the dates showing as July instead of June. It has been corrected. The event is June 17th and 21st through 23rd. Sorry for any confusion.
