EDGA Active Posting Season

As defined by the USGA Handicap System Manual (Section 2) the active season is the period of time, determined by the authorized golf association having jurisdiction in a given area (the EDGA), during which scores made there will be accepted for handicap purposes. The active season prescribed by the Erie District Golf Association is April 1st through October 31st . All scores made between these dates in this area shall be returned for handicap purposes and scores outside of those dates made in this area shall not.

Scores made outside of these dates in other areas which are in “active season” (such as Florida, South Carolina, etc.) shall be returned at your home club. In other words, all scores which are made in “active season” for the location played in shall be returned at your home club.
