The Lake View CC (A) team captured the 2011 Men’s Interclub event with a 7 shot victory over the defending champion, Lawrence Park GC. The event was held at Lake View CC on Sunday May 22nd.

Lake View had the three lowest scores, a one-over par 73 by Rick Carlotti followed by Mark Noce with 74 and Ellery Tarbell with 75. Ron Coleman (77), Ron DiSantis (84), and Mike Wolfe (87) rounded out the LV (A) team for a total of 383 in the 6 count 5 format.

Lawrence Park GC (A) was 7 shots back (390) and were paced by Ted Grassi III (75), Bob Paris (76), Evan Watkins (78), Joe Cassano (79), Sal Vella, Jr. (82), and Mark Trigilio (89). Whispering Woods finished third with 393 on scores by David Hewett (75), Lou Natalie (78), Jimmy Delsandro and Don Fessler, Jr. (79), Lucas Marsh (82), and Jim Delsandro (84).

Rick Carlotti of (LV-A) was the medalist with a score of 73 followed by Mark Noce’s (LV-A) 74. Four players tied for third with 75, Ellery Tarbell (LV-A), Ted Grassi III (LP-A), David Hewett (WW), and Dave Martin (LV-B). Bob Paris (LP-A) was 7th with 76 and Ron Coleman (LV-A) 8th with 77.

Lake View also won on home turf in 2005 and last won interclub in 2006 at Lake Shore.
