Greg and Ed Podufal repeated as EDGA Father-Child champions, this time with son Greg carrying the burden. Last year Ed shot and even par 72 at Lake View that allowed the team to capture the title by one stroke. This year it was Greg, with a 3-under par 69 that led the team to a 5 stroke victory (69-84-153) over Jack and Joel Hobson (78-80-158).

In the net division Homer Capotis and son Chris fashioned a combined net score of 147 besting Jack and Chris Komora by 4 strokes.

Greg Podufal was the low son with his 69 while Homer Capotis was the low father with 76.

Prizes (1st and 2nd gross and net and low father and son) can be picked up at Green Meadows.

The event was conducted at the Green Meadows Golf Club on Saturday August 1st.

Last year at Lake View CC, Ed shot the low round of the day, and even par 72 while Greg shot 77 for a combined total of 149, a stroke better than the Delsandros, Jim H (76) and Jim M (74). Defending champions Bob and Ryan Paris finished third with 79-74-153. Two-time champions Dave and Mike First finished 4th with 74-80-154.

Low net for the day went to the Delsandros with 142, followed by the Podufals at 143 and the Firsts at 145.
