The EDGA Father-Child tournament was conducted at the Lake View Country Club on Sunday July 20th and former EDGA match and amateur champion Ed Podufal and his son Greg captured the title.

Ed shot the low round of the day, and even par 72 while Greg shot 77 for a combined total of 149, a stroke better than the Delsandros, Jim H (76) and Jim M (74). Defending champions Bob and Ryan Paris finished third with 79-74-153. Two-time champions Dave and Mike First finished 4th with 74-80-154.

Low net for the day went to the Delsandros with 142, followed by the Podufals at 143 and the Firsts at 145.

Ron Coleman successfully defended his title in the EDGA Mid-Am Championship, but it was quite a fight.

Trailing by Troy Hassenplug by 3 strokes with 4 holes to play Coleman notched birdies on holes 15 and 16 while Hassenplug madge bogies on 16 and 17. Both would par 18 giving Coleman the 1 stroke victory.

Cory Smith was third at 148 (73-75), David Hewett fourth at 152 (78-74) and Bob Paris rounded out the top five with 153 (76-77).
